Lesley Howard is a RGN with over 17 years’ experience in clinical research, initially as a clinical research nurse in cancer research before expanding her expertise into many diseased areas. Within the last seven years Lesley has developed both her managerial and operational skills at the University Hospital of South Manchester whilst supporting and contributing to the growth of research.

 

Lesley is an extremely motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference to both patients and their carers through research. Lesley continues to build and expand respiratory research with both the clinical and academic investigators with the aim to facilitate more research so that it becomes an integral part of patient care.  Lesley feels an important factor to the success within the NIHR RACRF is teamwork and their passion for innovative research to improve patient wellbeing.
