Our Director, Professor Jacky Smith; Deputy Director, Dr Alex Horsley and Operations Manager, Lesley Howard make up the Senior Management Group (SMG); they are responsible for the appraisal of all research applications for support from our Facility.  Collectively, our SMG members have an extensive range of experience and knowledge to ensure its competence to rigorously assess study proposals. 

 

As a Facility we can assist you with assessing feasibility, costs for grant applications and direct research costs for commercial studies using the NIHR costing template.

 

In order to access the Facility for study support, please complete the Study Adoption Form and submit this with any supporting documentation to lesley.howard@uhsm.nhs.uk.  Your application will be assessed and a decision emailed to you within 2 weeks from receipt of all completed forms.
